Expectations of the Temple

So I want to ask you all a question today. When you go to church, what do you expect? When I go, I expect singing and praising of God, I expect a Biblical message, and among other things I expect fellowship with other believers. All of these things are put in place for a few reasons. One being is that God instituted the church and He wants me there, two, it's one place I can go to get closer to God and thirdly, it's so that I can grow closer to fellow believers and so that I can be there for them as well as they can be there for me. Now, here's the thing, I think that we as Christians tend to hold higher expectations for the church than we do ourselves. I mean think about it, think about your life, think about your secret life now. If I had a nickle for every time just from monitoring facebook I saw a professing Christian talking or doing something that someone who had their whole life devoted to God wouldn't do, I'd be a millionaire. I mean, imagine going to church and during praise and worship all of a sudden a Justin Bieber song comes up. Wouldn't you think that that would be a little odd. I'd bet you'd start to question the motive of that particular church. Or imagine the pastor gets up to the pulpit and starts reading off horoscopes instead of reading the Bible, after all, horoscopes can be prophetic too right? Or what if the pastor got up and started reading the witchcraft of Harry Potter to the congregation and we just learned all the stories of Harry Potter every week? What if after church there was beer in the fellowship rooms? I think you see where I'm going with this hopefully some red flags would go up if all this was going on in your church. Now just insert certain parts of your life into church and see if it fits. I think we may find that very few parts of our lives actually would be acceptable in that building we call church. But here's the kicker, 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, "19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" You know in the Old Testament the Spirit of God dwelled in the Holy of Holies, in a room that only the High Priest were allowed to go into. In there these men were stunned by God's power so much that whenever they went in that room they would tie a rope around them before they went in in case they were killed by the strength of God's power. If they were the least bit unclean or brought and unclean offering to God, they would die in their shame. These men had to keep a straight and narrow temple or else God would destroy them. Today the temple of God is us. We are God's dwelling place in this earth and we are the light of the world, and it is this Spirit that's only in us on earth that hold back God's full wrath on a world that has forgot about Him. So why do we allow the corruption of the world in us? You may say, will I can be a Christian and do this and do that, and I say really, show me in the Bible where it says that you only have live for God some of the time, but you can have your own little life outside of the Bible or where it says you don't need to give complete devotion to God? This my friends is the difference between emotional highs and true change. I've seen it once, I've seen it a million times, where someone will go on a week long trip to some Bible camp or something and come back charged up to serve God, but they forget one thing. We forget to throw the corruption in our lives out. Sure we may start a Bible study up for a couple weeks out of it, sure we all might start reading our Bibles for a little bit again, and we might even start up our prayer life, but what happens? We forget that Jesus said that any man who puts his head to the plow and looks back is not worthy to follow Him and like Paul said, a little leaven leavens the whole bunch and even though we add on some Christian aspects to our lives we forget to throw out the bad and we hold on to it. And it poisons us, and before long we're back at square one watching all the filth of the world and letting it reign in our lives. Soon all those Christian aspects just become work and we give them up. Sure once a week we'll stay "Christian" and go to church, but our hearts not there. Why? Because we haven't laid our all on the alter, we just gave God some, and friends with God, some of us just isn't enough, He's jealous for us and He doesn't like to share our allegiance to Him with anything or anyone. You see, the enemy pays no attention to these emotional highs, because he doesn't have too. He knows they'll crumble and since he knows that his time is limited, he's more focused on attacking true Christianity. And I'll tell you what else, the world sees this and they laugh at us, because they see right through us. We say we stand for one thing while standing somewhere else. Jesus told us to help the needy, to spread a message, and He said that any man who wishes to follow Him must deny Himself and pickup His cross and walk in His footsteps. And as long as these emotional highs are what we rely on, the work of God will not be made complete in our lives. So I close with these questions. Why do we hold the church the building to higher expectations than we hold our temples? And are you ready to throw ALL of your old life away yet and give your devotion to God? The best way to do that is just to do it and go out and do something for the cause of Christ. Finally, there's a world of lost people out there, so happy about it, some lost who think they're found, some searching, and few found, which are you? And what are you going to do about the rest? Christ should be the focus of your whole lives, not just a little. The world needs light, we're the light, let's not neglect them and start raising our standards of living for God. The goal of every true Christian is at the end of their race to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant" but very few have a plan on how they're going to hear it. You hear it by going out and doing the will of the Father, that is the one who is Jesus' friend. I'm telling you all, if you don't clean your temples, it WILL fall to corruption, pray to God to show you what needs cleaning and ask Him to help you do it, I'll be praying for you all.

Crippling Conformity

Romans 12:1-2

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This is something that I've been struggling with a lot lately and it's a thought that I've had that seems to be crippling to every soul on earth. Just to give some background here, without getting too much into it, about a year and a half ago, I had zeal and passion, so much that I had to leave a church that didn't know how to deal with someone of such zeal. I was reading my Bible and taking things literally as they ought to be taken, but somewhere along the way, subtly, that passion and zeal just seemed to disappear somewhere. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm still passionate, but it just seems as if my fire is dwindling. And what do I have to thank for it, I think I've drawn the line this verse at the top of the note. It's just that somewhere along the way, we build a system and the system runs fine and everyone just plays their part. Especially in church. It seems like in this system, everyone you come in contact with has nails and wood in their pocket just waiting to crucify someone who doesn't go with the flow and someone that stands on a rock and shouts, "NO! This is what the Bible says, this is all wrong!" I mean think back to the days when you first became a believer or imagine a new believer. Man in a new believer, there's passion, they go home every night and read their Bible and they start changing their lives. Then they start telling their friends who look at him like he's crazy. I mean this guy is going hard for God. Then what happens? He goes to church and learns a lot, but he falls victim to this "system" Then he reads things in his Bible and he compares to the system that he's been introduced too and he sees things that contradict. And at first he says something, and everyone around him says, "Be quiet, that's not how we do things." and then he begins to fall in line and do no more than play his part in this masquerade we call church. We always say don't conform to the world, but we make our own world and we conform to our own system and it's just as crippling, and what's worse is that most people in the church call this normal. Whatever happen to the zeal in us? Why does a new believer seem like he's more on fire for God than someone who's known God for years? Did the value of salvation diminish? Or how about the value of purity, or the value of our walk with God? Are all things rusted? Has their values gone down? I don't think that that's what God had in mind. God is a treasure that's more valuable tomorrow than He is today, or at least that's the way it should be with us right? Has God's way lost value in our lives? What's happened to us? The worst thing that's ever happened to a Christian is that he's become complacent. Is there not a battle to be won? Are there not still souls going to Hell everyday? Is there no longer pain and sorrow in the world? So what right do we have to be complacent? We're doing such a disservice to society by just trying to get along with each other. It's this very mentality that put Jesus on the cross guys. Leonard Ravenhill says that revival terries, because we've decided that we could live without it. And you know what, it's true. How much does it hurt when you walk by a sinner, when you walk by someone in pain, when you walk by someone in need, how much does it hurt? Does it burn a whole in your heart or is it just a little prick? Whatever happened to our ability to read the Bible and say it says this, so I'm going to stand firm on it no matter what, no matter what it cost. Guys, you realize that any price we pay here on earth for righteousness, God will repay us in full plus interest once we get to Heaven? So so what if we're not liked among men for standing up for righteousness, has that ever been the goal of our lives? What's more is that we want a revolution without change in our own lives, we think that if it's not a revolution, it's not worth getting up. But don't we know if we seek a revolution without focusing on the little things in our walks, then we'll prove ourselves to be hypocrites, because it's out of these things we show God and everyone else we're real about this, and out of that comes revolution. O God I desire to have more passion and zeal tomorrow than I have today. Because what complacency leads to is compromise, and compromise leads to sin, and sin leads to death. Gosh, if I were only half the man that I should be. God, please give us strength to against the norms and proclaim loudly, "This is not the way that it ought to be!" Another thing that Leonard said that was so true is this, "Because if you're going to get mature in God, everyone around you will snare at you and say, aw you're trying to be more holy than the rest of us eh." I have personally experienced this in my life, but now I fear that I've become one who is on the wrong side of this quote, one who condemns those who are maturing in God and questioning things.  It all gets back to that I think everyone has a fear to be the first one to stand up for righteousness, because they don't know how many will stand with them. But friends, have you not known, God will stand beside you when you stand up to His creation? I mean if we were to be honest with ourselves, I bet we all can think of someone in our lives who we haven't been as truthful with gospel as we should have been. People who we fear to even bring the gospel too.  We fear peoples opinions to even be honest with people about our short comings, because in this system we created such up straight people that we can't talk about our weaknesses. I mean heaven forbid someone actually comes to our church for help with our problems. Heaven forbid we be outspoken, or heaven forbid we do something for the cause of Christ. You know what guys I'm going to tell you, I need much prayer, I've been struggling with everyone of the ten commandments in my life and that's real. We were not made to conform to a pattern other than that of Christ. But it seems that everyone including myself has a fear of James 5:16 which says, "16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." We'd all like to ignore this verse. Everyone seems to have a shield up, so we ignore this verse. And we ignore so many other verses, because we in our conformity and our need to be liked don't know how to deal with them. But it's in this verse and others we find healings and solutions to our problems. And friends, when we gave our lives to Jesus we laid our old life down, why do we shield ourselves? Need I remind you all that we should be the most humble of all, because we've done nothing, but be the cause of Christ's death? We're nothing, so why do we hold on to the pride that puts a shield up around all this? It's like we play the game, "O, I have to be the big mature Christian, so I can't show any weakness" But it's in our weaknesses that Christ is strongest in us, have we not learned that yet? How about from now on, instead of conforming to the way of the church or the world we conform to Christ and see where that gets us? One compromise will always lead to a bigger one, so let's stand firm on God's word. Did you notice that when Jesus started his ministry He didn't just tell people how things should be, He commanded people. It's a demand that we can't take lightly. Let's stop playing and be real. Just once when someone ask me how I'm doing, or I do the same to someone else, I wanna get/give a real answer. Remember guys, it's not our job to be liked or to be looked well upon men, but it is our goal to do the will of our Father which is in Heaven and to have Him look well upon us. I'm telling you, if you get His approval, that's all you'll ever need.  I don't know about you all, but I'm sick of playing a role in a system called church, I want to be outspoken and firm on God's word and I want to be able to reveal my faults freely so that I might gain power over them. And as always, never cease to praise God, sing to Him aloud whenever you can, because in these times you grow boldness and strength. Strength and power over sin comes when we sing and proclaim the goodness of God wherever we go.

New People in My Life that I Pray For

Ok guys, so I've had my job at Papa Johns now for about a week and a half. I've always said that if I got a job, I'd be the hardest worker there and that I'd never complain about my job. It is my mission to be a light in a place that I'm so blessed to be able to make an income. In my time there, I have met some interesting people. Everyone there seems to be people who are easy to get along with, but each of them have voids in their lives. Nothing that they've told me about, but voids that you can only learn about by observing peoples demeanors and their behaviors. Through this short experience God has placed a burden on my heart for these people, and today he gave me a revelation. It's something I always kind of knew, but today it clicked. I need to have compassion on these people despite the fact that I can see so many things in them, because they're blind in a lot of regards. For instance, there's one girl there who every time I see her, she is having her own pity party and I can see that she brings it on herself. When she's at work she's constantly complaining and bringing everyone else down. In turn, everyone at work talks about her in a negative light. She's been snotty to me as well, but I'm able to see past her skin and see that deep down she's hurt and lonely. I feel sorry for her in a way and I kind of resent the fact that everyone talks about her the way they do. All her life she's probably had to deal with all that stuff and even though she may come off as a brat to some, making fun of her and talking about behind her back just throws wood into the fire. She's one of those people who cries for attention, probably, because her parents didn't give her any while she was young. But it bothers me when people talk about her in that light, because there isn't a whole lot that makes her different from them. It's only by the grace of God that others aren't like that. And I see that now, it is only by the grace of God that I'm not as blind as others. Far be it for me to snare at them, but  I would be much more productive if I lent out a hand of understanding to her and show her that she's not alone. I'm the kind of person who it's really hard to get under my skin. So I can ignore ignorant remarks and show compassion on people. That's my mission to her is to give a loving hand to her and show her the lesson that I've learned. That everyday is a gift from God and any day that we're not in hell, is a day that we're doing better than we deserve. And I want to show her that it is possible to have joy in this life. Although, to experience joy, we have to stop looking in the world to find it. That's what I think the world is blind to. I think the entire world is digging for joy, but they're all digging in the wrong spots. No wonder they can't find an everlasting joy, because they're not looking in God to find it. I want to ask this girl, "When it's all said and done, what do you want your dash to mean? Do you want it to be a representation of someone who lived and got pregnant during high school and got engaged in about the same time, or what does she want to be remembered for?" She has a younger sister, I want her to consider what kind of influence she is on her sister, because chances are that her sister will follow in her footsteps. Furthermore, I kinda want to give her the Hyles Anderson treatment. Long ago, Hyles Anderson had a church member who was always in the self pity boat and one day this church member came up to Hyles having pity on themself, so Hyles gave them fifty dollars and told that person to go to the flower shop and buy as many roses as they could would fifty dollars, when that person got back, Hyles then instructed the person to go to the terminally ill patients in the hospital and give a rose to each and every one of them. When this church member returned, their self pity had just vanished. One plea of my heart is that life is too short to have self pity, because it robs us of the joy that the God of the universe intended us to have as we went through this wild ride we called life.

There are a few others who work there that I desire to reach out to. One is agnostic and another has a coexist sticker on their vehicle. Again while understanding that these two are dead wrong, there's a part of me that has compassion on them. These people too are blind without even realizing it.  It is my desire to help them see. To the agnostic (of whom I've had a deep conversation with before I started working there) I want to explain that there's only one out of two reasons why people are agnostic and that I'd bet he's a result of them both. The first reason why someone would be an agnostic is that they've never really thought about it or researched it out for themselves. I've never seen anyone research something out for themselves and come to the conclusion of agnosticism. I'm able to understand every other religion and even atheism, but I'm convinced that no one will ever research things out for themselves and come to agnosticism. Plus on top of that, every agnostic differs in what they believe, so to claim agnosticism, you'd have to claim that of all the people in the world, you're the only one who's come to the knowledge of the truth. The second reason that anyone would be agnostic is that they don't like the idea that there are laws and that one day they're going to have to be held accountable for everything they did in their life. They don't like the idea of someone telling them what to do. The wake up bomb that I want to share is that whether you believe it or not, there is going to be a judgement and one day you're going to have to give an answer for how you spent your dash. I really want to influence him to read a Bible and see for himself that it's all true.

To the coexist girl, I want to say that the idea of coexist and tolerance just goes side by side with the Bible said would happen. The Bible said that in the end times people would cry peace peace when there is no peace and explain why the idea of coexist is bad. Show them that Jesus is the only way and show how everyone who has not Jesus has not salvation and that this is why it's not enough to just say let's get along. Jesus did say that there would be a judgement and that people would go to hell, so it is our duty to go the world and warn them. Not to make peace with it. Jesus said that he didn't come to the world to bring peace, but a sword. That sword is truth, and we need to prepare people for eternity. And if you're not going to hear my plea, at least cut the Christian part of your sticker off, because there's nothing Christian about that sticker. Peoples souls are at stake and we can't afford to just be nice to them, we need to be truthful. Sure a lie will make everyone happy for a while, but the truth will set people free and give them eternal joy if they so choose to accept it.

There's a few more that I won't get into now, I just thought I'd share what the new jobs been like. Which by the way, it's really not a bad job and I do feel blessed every day I go in to have a job in a land where some people just aren't as fortunate. It is my desire to show people what's important in life and it is my goal to show that to my fellow employees in the coming days. Please pray for me and them, and the rest of the lost and dieing world. And remember to be humble, we're nothing and we've done nothing worthy of the pride we have, but praise the one who deserves the glory and serve Him in all that you do. Jeremy out!

The Battle of the Two Meat Grinders (My Stance On All the Government Stuff)

I want to start out by saying this...
  • I believe that 9/11 was an inside job
  • I believe that our government is very corrupt
  • I believe that many recent "Natural Disasters" were caused by our government through means of HAARP
  • I believe that America is going down the path of Communism in the interest of a few elites
  • I believe a lot of stuff about our government
I know what the governement is capable of and nothing surprises me. I have an eye for lies, and have learned that pretty much all mainstream media is made to distract the common man from what's going on in the world. I know that most of our news sources have been bought out by people who would have an interest in controlling them. The worst part about it is, I see that what they're doing... It's working! Most people that I come in contact with in my day are totally oblivious to all of this. I'm sure someone reading this will blow me off, because I say that 9/11 was an inside job. It's ok though, with much knowledge comes great sorrow, and not everyone is able to take on that burden. Not everyone's able to comprehend truth. It's as if people are walking blindly into a meat grinder to be slaughtered much like how the Jews in WW2 walked right into gas chambers thinking that they were just going to be cleaned. It's disheartening, you just want someone to stand up and say something, or you just want to do that yourself. However, unfortunately, it is common knowledge that any kind of message like this will be rejected, so some will hold back.

I see all of this and it hurts to watch, but even worse than all of this, there's another meat grinder, a second meat grinder, a bigger meat grinder. Ever since the time Adam ate of the fruit, our world has been corrupted. The Bible says that there's nothing new under the sun and that the world is under the sway of the evil one and that each generation will get progessively eviler. So knowing that the world is corrupt and seeing it for myself is no surprise, because the Bible said that it would be so. So we cannot allow this to stress us out, we should rejoice, because we live in the best time to be alive, because this is the time we got. The second meat grinder is synomouse with the second death. More people today than any other time our not only walking blindly into Hell, they're running into it. Yes, this is due in large part, because the corruption of our government, but the world's been evil for a long time, and our government is just a continuation of it. Anyways, I've decided that if I'm just one voice, my voice would go to warn about the second meat grinder as oppose to the first. Becuase Jesus said in Matthew 10, "28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Plus, I mean really, when you think about it, what does it change? Yeah you know about it, and because you do, you might be able to avoid certain things here or there, but over all there's nothing that can really be done about it, as it is just Bible prophecy coming true. I mean does my knowledge on all the government does effect how I conduct myself? Hardly... Whether I know everything or not, it still isn't going to change my plans for tomorrow, because there's really not a whole lot I can do about it...

Also, consider this, Jesus, our example, grew up in the time of a corrupt Roman government. Now just to give some background on this, had Israel not been under Roman control, Jesus was the rightful heir to the thrown, not just, because He's God, but by blood as well. So Jesus knowing that He would have been a king in earthly terms if not for corruption, Jesus never complained or really even talked about how corrupt the government was. He knew it, but it wasn't His business if you know what I mean. Jesus' business was His Father's business. His battle wasn't against flesh and blood or principalities, but His battle was spiritual. My point of this boils down to this... It's great that you agree 9/11 was an inside job, but do you love your wife? How's your walk with God? What can we do for the poor/world? Do you desire to tell people about Him? Do you desire to love Him more and more each day? You see how when these questions are asked, this government stuff becomes priority 50,000 in your life? I'm not saying in any way that it's bad to know what's up or to be educated on this, I'm just saying prioritize your life.

I think that when we really study it out and learn what our government is capapble of, it gets to be scary, and we begin to become afraid. When we become afraid, we are immediately robbed of our joy in Christ and are no longer rejoicing. And when we let the government stuff consume us, we begin to spend our time trying to convince people about 9/11 instead of telling people to repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The thing we need to realize is that if we seek first the kingdom of Heaven... ALL things will be added. Remember, when God lead the Isrealites through the desert, He gave them food and supplied them with their needs, just like God will supply for His children. And remember Romans 8:28 where it says that everything works together for good to those who are called according to God's purpose. And most of all, if we take our time and do nothing, but share God's truth, corruption will begin to fade, because everyone will have a fear of the Lord. Remember, Matthew 6,

24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Jesus says not to worry about tomorrow and that He'll take care of us. He said that God takes care of the birds in the sky, how much more will He take care of us? Just please don't allow yourself to consumed in the matters of the first meat grinder. It's good to be educated, but don't over do it if you know what I mean, because in the end, I tell you, even though Christians will under go great persecutions and everything. We know two things. We know that our real home is in Heaven and they can't take that away from us, and we know that in Psalms 2 it says:

1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

God is laughing at this, because these people try to compare their power to His, so let not your heart be troubled, because God is in control!

Also, I want to add this. Many people say that they don't engage in the government stuff, because they just want to focus on God. Which sounds good, but many of the people who say this are just making excuses for themselves to be able to deny and be lazy so that they can picture the world as they choose to. But when you look at their lives they're not about the Lord's work either. To these people I say stop being lazy, get to work, and study thyself to show thyself approved! You have one voice, and one life, use them for something!

And remember, REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAY, AGAIN I SAY REJOICE! Because we're all doing better than we deserve. We deserve Hell, but we're here on Earth, and hopefully soon going to Heaven. Now what can a wayword government do to ruin that thought? The best thing we can do for our world is to be on our knees praying to God for the lost and be a light to the people in our lives. Rejoice I tell ya Rejoice, I read the book of Revelation and Jesus wins! Rejoice about this and let not your hearts be troubled! We are going to win!!!

And finally, look at this:

John 14

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

We Don't Have Time

Hey guys,

I just wanna take a moment and be real with y'all for a moment and just share a peace of my heart. Today I went soul winning for the first time in a while, and became convicted that I haven't done it in a while. I didn't see anyone saved today, but we did help to point someone who's been searching in the right direction. But that's all God, nothing I can brag about and not the reason that I'm writing here today. Today also, I watched for like the fifth time the movie To Save a Life, and a combination of soul winning and that movie clicked something in my mind today. I fear, that one of the greatest misconceptions of Christians is that time is a luxury. I mean, if we were to be honest, it takes a special kind of person to have an urgency for the Lord's work. We treat time as a commodity like, I'll do this for God later, or I'll get back on my horse when the Spirit pulls me again. But I'm here to tell you that our time on earth is a vapor, it comes than it goes. Time isn't our friend, but it is our enemy. We live in a lost and dieing world out there full hurt that's searching for answers. And I'm telling you that if you're a Christian, you know the cure. But sometimes, I think there's just not enough people who care. We can help them. We can be there for people. I think right now the message the world needs is that someone cares, and that everything's going to be alright. We as Christians I think sometimes, we need to be in panic mode. I mean friends, life comes and it goes with a snap of the fingers. Some of you know that all to well. But I must ask, what are we doing to make a difference. Yeah, we'll go to Sunday School, Church, Youth Group and other "Christian" events, but sometimes I feel as if we go to those things hoping to grow, but we over indulge in them. What I mean by that is that we go to these things and get all of this Spiritual food and we keep it for ourselves and don't do anything with it. I'll tell you what though, if you wanna grow in your walk with God, go out and do the Lord's work, take on His lot. Nothing, no Sunday School, Church or anything will grow you in your walk like jumping into the deep end of the Lord's work without knowing how to swim. And the best part about it is, God loves working with those who don't know how to swim, but those who have a heart that says, "Here I am Lord, use me as you please" I'm telling you, if you can do this, it will blow your mind the ride that God takes you on. But I'm telling you, that we as Christians cannot afford to be lazy and take our time growing in Bible Studies. Now, I'm not saying at all that these things are bad, they're great things and I encourage everyone to be involved in them, but I'm here to tell you we live in a lost and dieing world, and that we don't have time to take our time growing in God, we need to just volunteer for on the job training with the Lord's work. People our hurting, suffering, and many are on their way to hell and many of us are just sitting on the sidelines. We're needed. The lost need our tears. And I feel super guilty writing this, because I feel as if I've been stagnate in my duties in performing the Lord's work. We just don't have time to be a luke warm people right now, we don't have times for games, the world needs us, and we can't turn our back on them and continue to call ourselves Christians.

One of the biggest burdens on my heart over the last year has been the youth at my old church. I know that many of them know little about God. I know that a lot of them don't have that personal relationship with God and they don't know what it means to walk with them. I'm o so very burdened for them. I just wish there was a practical way I can be a light to them and show them that there's more to life than today's problems, and show them that Jesus is coming quickly, and it's my grandest desire to be able to teach them how to like Christ, and share what I've learned so far. But it just doesn't stop there, I mean in every church I've found that there are some to many who just don't get it, and it is my biggest prayer that God would use me to be a light to these people, to show them the path that Jesus walked in. Again, we just don't have time to be walking in other paths. We just don't have it. I mean, I refuse to call myself a Christian if I'm going to sit idlely by and watch the world fall without doing my part to do something. People, do something, anything for the cause of Christ, don't waste another day. Pray to God that He shows you how you can be a light, and I'm telling you, just jump into action and let the Lord lead you from there. We need to double time our growth in Christ, because people need us, and we can't afford to take our time.

We don't have time to be worldly, because we need to make time for the world.

One Piece of Symbolism Found In Jewish Tradition

This thought just dawned on me while I was walking out to check the mail...

Jewish Marriage Tradition:

In Jewish tradition, it was customary that when a man was getting ready to marry a woman, he would go off and build a house for them to live in. (Often times a second floor to his father's house) His father usually would have to inspect it before he could go get his wife. Once he has his father's approval on the house, it would be tradition that at night when everyone was asleep, he would go as a thief in the night and bring his new wife to the house.

Symbolism:

John 14

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Well for starters, we as Christians are obviously the bride of Christ. He's come to claim us, and He has gone to build mansions in Heaven for us in His Father's Kingdom for us to live in. Once these places our prepared and ready for Jesus to come back, He will come as a thief in the night to claim us, during a time in which the majority of the world is asleep. Now there's something to note here. I think that ladies may understand this concept better than men, but if you knew that any night, the man of your dreams is going to come pick you up and take you to a your new place, I would think that your bags would be packed and ready to move on a word. It would become all you would ever think about so much that it may annoy your friends how much you think about it. You would probably spend many sleepless nights waiting for your knight in shining armor to come pick you up.

Revelation 19

7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

We need to be rejoicful that at any moment our "ceremony" can begin. I mean, again, if you were about to marry the person of your dreams, you would constantly walk around with a smile on your face and be glad. And in this, you would have a desire to bring glory to this person.

Now this all said, what kind of message would it send to Jesus if He came and found you asleep? It may send the message that you're not excited to move with Him. Or that you're life has just carried on same as usual after knowing that He's gone to prepare a place for you for eternity. Or maybe, it might send the message, you never believed in His promises and didn't trust Him. At very least, it would send the message of a foolish bride.

Worst yet, what if Jesus comes back as a thief in the night, and walks in on you committing adultery on Him? You think He's going to still take you? You think He'll still take you if He finds you cheating on Him with your lusts? Remember, God should be our everything. Our bags should be packed, and we should be ready to be with Him at any moment, because the rest of the world is sleeping and committing fornication.  But we have a higher calling, we have a calling to serve our bride groom.

The best passage I've found that depicts this point is found in Jeremiah 2. Look what it says:

2Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
3Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.
4Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:
5Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
6Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
7And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.
8The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
9Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.
10For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing.
11Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
12Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.
13For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

I wonder how many people today have tasted of God's goodness, but gone and traded their fountain of living water for broken cisterns that hold no water. We need to repent and prepare for eternity with our bride groom. Are you able to say that you're ready? Are staying up praying and seeking God? Are your bags packed ready to leave the world, or are you still living in it hoping that Jesus takes longer to build your place in Heaven? Are you committing fornication with the wicked, and indulging in that which Satan has placed in your way to try to steal you away from Jesus.

Take a look at these verses in Proverbs 31 and just put them in the context that we are Jesus' bride...

11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

If Jesus were talking about His bride, can He say all of things about us? Go through all these and see if Jesus can say this about you. If not, we need to start conducting ourselves in such a matter worthy of being called Jesus bride. Not that we deserve it, but because He's chosen to make us royalty. It's high time we start acting as if we're of Heavenly royalty.

My biggest fear is that people who think they're saved, will hear these words that Jesus said, in Matthew 7:

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

It would be devastating for anyone who thinks that they are Christian to hear these words. To hear our bride groom say, "I never knew you, depart from me" Then go on to call you a worker of iniquity. So let me ask you, how much do you know the one you claim to be wedded too. How much do you communicate with Jesus threw prayer? How much do you walk with Him? The chapter goes onto say this,

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Be wise, and be prepared to walk as Jesus walked as if you were interested in your bride groom.

So my question to everyone would be, Are you living in such a way that you're ready to leave the world, or are you asleep and attached to the evil things of the world? Are you committing fornication with the world. Or have you learned to love the things you use to hate, and began to hate the things you once loved? These are genuine signs of change and that you are saved, as you begin to base your standards of things you enjoy based on what God's ways are. There's no bigger tell tale sign of salvation than this. These are the people who truly know what it's like to walk with God, and know Him. These are the people that Jesus is looking to wed.

Revelation 16

15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

So, You Want a Revolution (The long version of a speech I wrote last year to my old youth group that was never given)

In Remembrance of David Wilkerson

       The Second Coming of Jesus

Ode to David Wilkerson who was taken from us in a tragic car accident. Apparently God has called him up. I was shocked to learn about this from friends on facebook. Please keep his family in prayer. We mourn, but he's in Heaven with our Lord Jesus now in paradise and we rejoice in that. We'll miss you Dave!

i believe God

This song will forever be one of my favorites. It proclaims, it doesn't matter what the world says, I know God is true! So although while I'd prefer to be agreed with, knowing the truth in my God is enough for me! Enjoy! :)

Evolution Properly Defined

Science is the information we get by doing repeatable experiments(1) in the present(2) that can be observed(3). There’s three criteria that something must be before it’s called science.

History is something that’s happened in the past(1), is non repeatable(2), and it requires an eyewitness(3). There are three criteria for history as well.

Religion or metaphysics is something that can’t be proven(1), lacks eyewitnesses(2) and requires faith to believe in.(3) These are the three criteria for religion.

Keep this in mind, I’ll be reverting back to this.
There are six kinds of evolution that are proposed.

1 - Cosmic Evolution: The origin of time, space and matter. (The Big Bang)

2 - Chemical Evolution: The origin of all of the elements that we have today.(All elements evolved from hydrogen)

3 - Stellar Evolution: The origin of the stars and planets. (Stars and planets formed from gas clouds)

4 - Organic Evolution: The origin of life from non life. (Life begins from inanimate matter. Like bacteria forming from water)

5 - Macro Evolution: The origin of the major kinds of animals and plants. (We get one animal from another type of animal. Like a lizard turning into a bird for example.)

6 - Micro Evolution: Simple variations within a kind of animal or plant. (Two different types of dogs being bred together to get another type of dog.)
Micro Evolution is the only one of those that today can be classified as Science. The other 5 are purely religion.

1 - Obviously the Big Bang is non repeatable, non observable, no one was there. It lacks eyewitnesses, can’t be proven, and it takes a leap of faith to believe in. To believe in it, you’d have to believe that nothing exploded chaotically billions of years ago and that explosion was the beginning of life and all that we have today. That’s a huge leap of faith! However, Biblical creationists have three eye witnesses to their account of creation. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So it’s a non repeatable event that happened in the past, and it has witnesses. Biblical creationism falls under the category of history and not religion.

2 - Hydrogen has never been taken into a lab, and been changed to anything else when only Hydrogen was available. If you know your Chemistry, you’d know that you’d have a hard time getting certain chemicals like Uranium from nothing but Hydrogen. Elements rely on chemical bonds to form different elements. If hydrogen is all that’s available, it’d be impossible to have the atoms attract each other. It sure hasn’t been observed, hasn’t been able to be repeated, it can’t be proven that it ever did happen, and it takes a leap of faith to believe in.

3 - Stellar Evolution has never been observed, we don’t have the means to experiment or repeat it. There are no eyewitnesses of it. Some Scientists say they’ve seen it, but there’s no way to confirm that. It could very well just be them seeing a star that wasn’t visible before once gas started clearing out. Did you know that there are enough known stars for every person on Earth to have 11 Trillion to themselves? And of the stars we don’t know about, we don’t know what we don’t know about. And people were trying to get people to buy stars when there’s enough for each person to have 11 Trillion…

4 - Well there have been numerous experiments done on this, but it’s never worked. So, it’s non observable, non repeatable, and has no eye witnesses. This one too is religion. In 1953, Scientists thought that they had created the necessary amino acids to using the chemicals found in the atmosphere. Well, they got 4 of 20 mandatory amino acids. However, this experiment used Hydrogen, methane, omonia and water to do it. It left oxygen out. Well, there’s oxygen in our atmosphere (The O zone layer) And oxygen oxidizes, so these amino acids wouldn’t have had a chance. If you take the oxygen out of the atmosphere, then you have UV Light rays. UV light rays would destroy any kind of life that could have came. To further prove this point, you can take a frog and put it in a blender and turn on the blender. In about 10 seconds you will have a blended frog, but you will also have all of the chemicals necessary to create a frog sitting in one area. You’d be able to try anything you want, but your never going to get that frog to be a frog again. So this proves that even if they did create legitimate amino acids, that doesn’t prove that that’s all you need for life. Plus, even if it did, then it would still have been done by an intelligent design. Number 4 is religion to believe in.

5 - Macro evolution has never been witnessed, and sure isn’t observable or repeatable. No one has ever seen a whale turn into a walking animal, or a walking animal turn into a whale. Lots of Scientists say humans come from apes. If they did, they did it leaving no record of it. In fact, the only ‘fossil’ record of this happening has been proven to have been falsified evidence, or Scientists trying to ignore facts to push a theory. Think about it, why would we believe that the animals who lived long ago could do something that we can’t observe today?

6 - Like I’ve said, I agree with Micro Evolution, it’s presently observable and repeatable. It is also Biblical. The book of Genesis says ten different times in chapter one that different living organisms will take after their “kind.”
1 Timothy 6:20
20O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
